Hello,
my latest project... 9cm long.

as usual the rivets and detail still missing. The boiler will get an ovenpipe on the side ;)

Good lord, a Vapor Viper! lol
Nifty.
-
Very nice!
It could be doubled as a steam cannon!
-
I dunno... I like your designs a lot, but this one has (for the moment, the way it looks now) a very "modern" look (perhaps an open cockpit would be more VSF-like), but still: nicely done!

100 rivets later.... feels like every single rivet makes the model less modern ;)

I won't cast it myself so I will put the master up for auction as soon as it's finished ;)

The rivets do make a big difference.

They do; it is indeed more VSF-like now. I think a Pappa Midnight paintjob would make it splendid!

What do you use for rivets? My rivet fixation is back.
-
A few more detail... the exhaust now is under the ship. I mounted a photografic device with a huge zoom lens on the left side, observation shouldn't be a problem any longer.

i cut a 0.5 to 2mm plastic rod in thin slices, grab them with the tip of my exacto and glue them on. after that i sand them to an equal height.

Every time I see it , it goes more beautiful!!

The interieur designer just left...

Despite the rivets, it doesn't look very VSF to me. But still, very cool. You should hire some Christmas elves to whack you out bushels of rivets for these ongoing projects.

Yeah, the boiler in the back doesn't come out too good on the photos. I'll make some shots from le derriere tonight... Tobi
