These are nice. Sometimes I wished my minis were 15mm high; I wouldn't be worried being crushed one day by the mountain of lead toppling over.
-
All the Evil Folk: Lads, Ladies, & Whatever are BEAUTIFULLY painted creations...love the expressive Troll. VERY WELL DONE!
-
Demonworld have to be some of the greatest 15mm figures I've ever seen. I've so often been tempted to buy a load! Lovely painting!
-
Thanks but beware, Demonworld miniatures are pretty but difficult to paint (need lot of time for not very good
rendering). In fact, it's not very easy to have a great result cause they have too many details.

A great collection! And great paintjobs, especially at that scale... :-*
-
Great stuff! Love the painting on the fire golem :)
-
Nice painting! I especially like the different schemes of the goblins.
Thanks but beware, Demonworld miniatures are pretty but difficult to paint (need lot of time for not very good
rendering). In fact, it's not very easy to have a great result cause they have too many details.

Interesting to hear. Just comparing the photos here, the Chariot orcs look as detailed, if not more detailed than the Demonworld orcs. Which ones were more difficult to paint? Or did I choose a bad example? :) Which minis or which level of detail did you find easiest to paint?

In fact I try always to take the most simplies miniatures in the demonworld range. The simples orcs don't give me problem, but I've got it when I try to paint demonworld Elven (specialy the hight ones).
The details are very tiny and when you watch the miniatures on the gameboard you could see nothing because too much things to see. In distance to play, your eyes could not see too much details and colors (Paricularly small gems who you could found on every elf in this range). Too much work for not a very good record.
I prefer simple miniature. The Chariot ones are good, even they have so many things to paint. They are easy and finaly have a very good record.
Hope you could understand my bad english ;)
Thanks for you coments

Hope you could understand my bad english ;)
No problem. :) Your explanation sounds like my preference for 10mm minis: clean, simple shapes without getting bogged down in fussy detail. Thanks Stéphane.
The demonworld elves in your other topic do look very good and well painted, though!
-
Fantastic paint job with those!
Congrats!
-
huhhhhhhhhhhhh :o alors là bravo ! no they are not nice......amazing paint job ! :-*
j'ai déjà peint du pendraken en 10 mm un cauchemar , et demonworld c'est à peine plus grand.....vraiment balaise ;)
-
Excellent brushwork on these 15mm miniatures. What kind of Dungeon terrain are you plannign to sue with them?
-
Those characters are incredible. I understand what you're saying about figures that have too much detail for 15mm, but they are still marvelous painted up like that. :-*
-
Very, very good!! :-* :-*
Keep it coming.
-
Merci/thanks for all your coments.
[...] What kind of Dungeon terrain are you plannign to sue with them?
Lot of :
1 - Caverns (slaps without doors)
2 - Dungeon classical Corridor (slaps with doors)
3 - Woods from Mystery Forest (slaps without doors too but woody)
4 - Swamp from deadly marsh (little islands path on mud )
5 - Iceland of the frozen lac (little frozen islands path on cold watter)
6 - glowing embers of the fire mountain (little tectonics plates on hot lava)
7 - ... certainly more in my plans but less in reality :D
all slaps/little islands will be make with Depron (cheap material : polystyrene without hole for walls isulation)
I plan to make a post soon about these "dungeon slaps". but you could see some of them on my blog (http://citeenjeux.blogspot.fr/search/label/Donjon)

Here again some warband for my 15mm dungeon.
The dwarfs warriors (some painted for the last LPL) all come from Demonworld range.

These last trolls will be used with frostgrave too.
Little two legged things come from CP model fantasy range (former Splintered light miniatures), the big ones from Demonworld range. The frozen troll are Copplestone miniature.
-
Love the two legged bird/lizard things! And again lovely painting.
-
Fantastic work!
Thanks for mentioning the makers too. This thread definitely makes me want to get my hands on some 15mm minis.
-
Thanks for mentioning the makers too.
You're Welcome, But I've missed to do that for the last posts. I have just edited them and indicated the makers.
-
Your minis look a thousand times better than when I see them on their makers catalogue.
-
Very nice. How would those goblins work in 28mm I'm thinking about using them as brownies.
-
I'd forgoten two others warbands for my dungeon (painted for the LPL09 last year)
The daylight watch :

-
Regardless of their size, your miniatures are all WONDERFUL creations, BRILLIANTLYpainted, AND even more STUNNING when placed in your BEAUTIFUL terrain. SPLENDIDLY WELL DONE!

Wonderful shading/highlighting. You have been busy lately.
-
Beatiful painting and lovely photo.
Glad that you are continuing this thread.
-
Fantastic looking miniatures and I love the variety of warbands. I've got a few of these models unpainted (for ages) and now I'm going to get distracted and try to paint them....... damn you!
I'd love to see a battle report since it looks like you'd manage to fill an amazing dungeon.
-
Necromancy once again... Fantastic work everywhere! The town guard really stands out though! :-* :-* :-*
