I found this little beauty on amazon.
Looking at the specs online I'm pretty sure it will scale up with 25mm and 28mm figures. Here is a link to the item.

The lid comes off, so I was wondering if I could fit some kind of light in there. A quick amazon search and I found these mini led lights!

A really nice find, although I thing the specs do say itīs a little too big for my liking: Dimensions Base 4" by 2" Poles 4" Ark stands 3" Tall from Base
I look forward to see a scale comparison photo with some miniatures of yours! :D

I've got the Croc Games one too. Very nice piece.
-
Somewhere I have the tomb kings "ark". Not sure if the lid comes off.
-
There is an Indiana jones DVD game that comes with a plastic one. It's to scale as well.
-
This one looks like it's made of brass. I don't know whether I'll give it a ink wash or not. Gold doesn't tarnish does it?
-
Groovey!

Whatever happens DONT OPEN YOUR EYES! My mate has been looking for one of these of ages for weird war 2 for a Wolfenstein style game. I'll have to see if it's available on amazon UK. Thanks for the heads up.

According to Bible: Esodus 25,10ss
"Cast four gold rings and fasten them on the four supports of the ark, two rings on one side and two on the opposite side.
Then make poles of acacia wood and plate them with gold.
These poles you are to put through the rings on the sides of the ark, for carrying it;
they must remain in the rings of the ark and never be withdrawn."
Why Crocodile and Castaways ones do not have rings and poles?
-
The Castaway minis one does come with carrying poles.
-
Yes, mine came with poles from Castaway but they were removed to enable Mad Lord Snapcase to make a daring leap onto the 17.11 goods train from Much-Piddling, calling at Trumpton, Camberwick Green and Market Snodsbury with the Ark at the end of a game of Pulp Alley!
