Hi all,
With the completion of the Rey cavalry regiment, I have completed the Spanish forces that helped defend the Pajar Vergara redoubt at Talavera.

The Rey regiment achieved the only successful cavalry charge during the battle that must have surprised both friends and foes alike given the previous record of Spanish cavalry.

Really nice.
Had I started Napoleonics now I think I should have done it in this scale. Looks really good.

Lovely unit of cavalry you have there. They should be a lot of fun to game with, Thanks for sharing.

Thanks chaps, really appreciate the comments. I love 28mm and the the fantastic ranges avaiable today, but I really think that if you want to do Napoleonics on a grand scale, 18mm is the way to go. At this scale I can get one mile in to four feet and still have figures with loads of character.
Cheers
