I enjoyed a large Dark Age bash yesterday between Romano-British and Early Saxon Kingdom armies, I was the British. In a nutshell the British took the high ground in the centre of the battlefield and stood in shieldwall awaiting the Saxon assault, which came just as we reached the top. The line held and the slopes were heaped with Saxon dead.

Great looking game and fabulously painted minis!
Oh and where did you get the round numbered casualty markers from?
-
The casualty markers come from Warbases, those are the smaller ones, they do a slightly larger one, many people populate them with debris and casualties, I like mine plain.
I have seen your stuff, that's real painting, thanks for the kind words.

Thank you, they're quite neat aren't they !
And credit where it's due, you've got a real period feel there
