Title: ANZAC Day 25th April?
Post by: Atheling on April 15, 2015, 12:29:33 PM
Hi,

Apologies for my ignorance. I'm just checking that April the 25th of this year marks ANZAC Day?

I don't want to miss honouring the dead nor the unveiling of the Perry/Jackson Memorial Diorama!

Darrell.

That diorama project was on national TV here in New Zealand last night:

Not quite. This year every bugger and his dog has sought to cash in/ commercialise/monetise the event. It's become quite sickening. Even bloody Woolworths thought it would make an extra quid out of it. Personally the wallowing in ANZAC myth making is making me nauseous. Entirely predictable but bloody sad.

The Kiwi diorama does look good though.

Agreed on both counts.
