Hey Everyone,

First time posting in this part of LAF, normally I post in the dark corner of LAF, in the Strange Aeons section, but I recently completed a terrain board and related elements for the excellent game Bushido by GCT Studios and I wanted to share it here.

I have all the WIP and How-To for construction, finishing and figure painting at my blog, Sarcophagi http://sarcophagi.blogspot.com/ (http://sarcophagi.blogspot.com/) so I will leave those details to that space and just leave some pictures here.  If anybody has questions, just let me know. I will add to this thread as I build and paint more stuff.

Looks fantastic mate. May be stealing some ideas for my own board.

I think the Bamboo is this stuff.

the water effect is perfect, wonderful painting on the minis too

I literally ordered the stuff yesterday so it was fresh in my head.

FYI: There is a bamboo tutorial on my blog along with a source for the bamboo pieces I used and a materials list, if it helps:

I use expanding glue for basing. Seems complicated to read as a write-up but's actually really simple and sturdy.

Thanks for the replies guys. The board had a first game this weekend (ended turn 6 as a draw, but awesome). I'll be editing the terrain slightly, per player feedback and then trying to do a batrep on it soon.
