Just kicked off our club's Necromunda campaign. We're calling it "Lower Wacker Hive" as a little shout-out to folks with Chicago connections. You can see the Yaktribe page for the campaign and the stats for all the participating gangs here:
http://necromunda.yaktribe.org//tools/campaigns/1988/Lower+Wacker+Hive+ (http://necromunda.yaktribe.org//tools/campaigns/1988/Lower+Wacker+Hive+)
No particular slant for the campaign, just an ongoing milieu for our Necromunda games. They'll probably only happen every month or so but when games happen they will be blogged and I'll notify folks of them here. This week was the first round of games and 4 of the 5 of us gathered at my house.
I just wrote up the battle between my Van Saar Gang "Fjord's Folly" and the Goliath gang "The Juggernauts". Full report and pics here:

A good time was had by all and it was another chance to use some of my more recently constructed Urban Terrain, much of which is built in a rather necromunda'ish style.

Good stuff and great looking table :)

Great looking terrain! The figures look fantastic as well. Looks like lots of fun.

Thanks Folks!
If you liked the figs on our side of the table, wait till you see (hopefully posted in a few days) the batrep for the Escher Vs Delaque battle that was happening on the other half…
So far the campagin has Escher, Van Saar, Goliath, Delaque and Redemptionist (not played yet) gangs involved. All painted up of course and if I can find time to paint up another gang I hope to recruit another player or two.

Nice stuff :)

As someone with Chicago connections, love the pun. lol That's a nice looking table!

I'm not from Chicago, but I was watching the Blues Brothers (for probably the fiftieth time) again today... :D

Campaign night 2.
My "Fjord's Folly" Van Saar gang was soundly beaten twice in a row by the "Panther Moderns", but it was a great time. First they managed to loose a "Showdown" and get one of their gang members captured even though they outnumbered the enemy. Then they proceeded to completely cock-up a rescue attempt. Full report here as well as a couple pictures of the game that was going on next to us.

As I play more games I'm continually impressed with both the original author's of Necromunda and the tasteful improvements of the "Necromunda Community Edition" editors. The scenarios especially are so wonderfully evocative and well developed.

Thanks! You're in luck. They were nearly all blogged and most of them were posted here, but the best collection of links to the write-ups for all the pieces is here:

Looks like you're in Chicago. If you want to join in, there is still room.

I have actually moved to Milwaukee (so I should really update my blurb there) but I can always come down for a game. I'm somewhat familiar with Games Plus, even.

Cool.
We play every other thursday. If you want more info, feel free to join the yahoo group in my sig. Visitors are always welcome to join in, even in the midst of campaigns.
