Yes, I remember seeing these " in the flesh " many years ago at Mr. Gilders old place in Scarbourgh.

You would think so Harry however look at all the old pictures from Wargames World and Miniature Wargames and the Sudan collections are very "matt".  In fact the only glossy picture I remember is that wonderful early square with the casualties in the centre.  Lovely shot!

Most of the original collection which now resides in the states was re-shot in an early Battlegames of Henry's and looked pretty matt to me as well if my ageing memory serves me well.
