On Thursday evening James M, James W and myself (thankfully not another James) tried out some ideas for our WWI game at the forthcoming Partizan show.

We did a game based upon the final attack on Colonel Driants command bunker in the Bois Des Caures during the opening phases of the Verdun battle from February 1916.

I've done a full report and some scenario specific rules along with loads more pictures over on Scrivsland (http://scrivsland.blogspot.co.uk/2015/05/trying-out-some-ideas-for-partizan.html)

scrivs,

Made the short dash over to your blog, very nice.

Tip o' the hat to your creativity.

Good to see your terrain. I like a bit of something more than the trenches.

Top paint job on the troops.

Best wishes for your game(s),

Sendak

Quite enjoyed the battle report and want to reiterate the compliments everyone else has already given regarding the painting of the troops.  I quite envy you your Germans.

Thanks chaps.
Still working on more Frenchmen, but I did pick up another pack of Germans from Northstar last week.
