Hello,
For a terrain project I'm building a secret WW2 German base, so I'm looking for inspirational pictures.
So far, my list of to-be-built-buildings is as follows:
- HQ Bunker
- Sentinel Posts
- Barbed Wire fences
- Barracks
- General purpose hangars (flying wings perhaps)
- Power generator
Who can tell me where I can find inspirational pictures? If there are buildings I forgot to add to my list, please tell :)
Cheers & thanks

after the battle magazine on normandy is excellent on the web try wikipedia/atlantic wall and d-day and believe it or not ...the pill box study groups website and bunkerpictures all have some photos

what about a lab? vehicle bay? or maybe interogation room? and radio room? flak tower?

Thanks for the suggestions!
I'll start sketchting tonight.

Watch Outpost, they go to a WW2 bunker complex.

Not the only one who had this when he was a kid I bet...always wanted to have a go at building this to 28mm....hmmm..
For other ideas, screen shots from Return to Castle wolfenstein should be of great help.

The size of the picture is tantalising, however, I cannot see it. Maybe the link is broken?

I always found the Verdamnis site inspirational. For your needs:

Remember to add barrack blocks and a hospital. To save time and money try the downloads from Ebob:

These make up very nicely. I made mine by printing onto thin card then gluing that onto thick card/mounting board.

The Plasticville Hangar and Control Tower kits would be a good starting place, I think.

Very nice links, lots of inspiration!

Try searching for La Coupole - a V-2 launching site in Northern France

Works ok for me. Another link this time to a shop that has one in stock, cheap reference model too.

I designed a downloadable card Bunker for Hour of Glory - a lot of the wall texture and details would be useful for any project like this and it saves painting too... I did a lot of research on war bunkers and used a lot of photo evidence and visited as many as I could - I hope it's helpful? Obviously this would only be useful for an underground HQ bunker complex...
