Lovely entries! Chambers, could you give us some infos about the miniatures? I really like the civilian type on the left.

As both organiser and participant, I've tried to not comment too much on the matches, but I have to say I love both these entries.
There's something very charming about the cops, and who doesn't love that pulpy feel? The motor car and the posters really set the figures off beautifully :)
Chambers' figures are obviously much more sophisticated sculpts and the paintjob is simply wonderful. Such subtle shading and highlighting, and a great consistent palette and uniform tones.
Both great entries in fact :-*

I have to wholeheartedly agree, two fabulous entries. ::)

All of them are by Hasslefree.

Ha! having looked at those Hasslefree figures many times and owning a few in the group, never did Stargate enter my mind until seeing these painted. But the nice paint jobs and front 3 figures are what made the connection.

Nice models Dolmot, I really like the the auto.
The minis are indeed from Hasslefree and are Stargate-esqe. A couple years I painted up Jack for the LPL comp. I had fun painting the minis. I need to find a Gate now.
Thanks all.

Soooo hard to choose.
The difference actually don't make justice of how close this match really is.
Where's the BOTH button?
