Title: Osprey Wargaming series questions
Post by: leonmallett on May 31, 2015, 07:12:03 PM
I have picked up a few of these books, and those that I have seem to have loosely or not so loosely associated minis ranges, in some instances.

Just out of curiosity, do all all the books have an identifiable associated minis range? Or are there some that don't?

Is there a list of upcoming titles for the line anywhere?

Thanks in advance. :)

I could be wrong but I would assume that it's the personal preference of the author.

cheers

This is speculation howevver a lot of the rules seem to have ranges produced by northstar, not all mind you so assume there is a link with them. However northstar seem to have a cracking business model so develop ranges with tie ins to other rules sets also.

New ones coming include a modern, agent, cops type game,, frostgrave fantasy and dragon rampant fantasy at end of the year

Northstar has a close working relationship with Osprey but I believe Nick chooses whether to produce supporting models depending on the book.

I was initially put off by the sci-Fi looking cover on Black Ops but from the limited information I've seen it sounds good. Does anyone know anything more about it? I know it's D6 based but that's it.
