Fresh from last weeks LPL here's the start of my X-wing Scum and Villainy repaints, if you're a fan of 80's cartoons you might recognize some of the paintschemes, and otherwise the title of the thread might give you a hint ;)

Handsome work, but a bit confused by the Amanita R2 unit... >:D

Yeah, I wasn't making the connections, but didn't stop from being damn handsome!
I will say, while I didn't see the origin, I think Venom captured my fancy the most.
Did you see the images on TMP of the "SW armada ships with VSD modification" topic? Fellow going by Atropos907 put up images I was hoping someone would bust as mere photoshop.
Truth be told, the PJ impressed me so I'd give props if it WAS just photoshop!

Very clever - I especially like the resemblances between the characters and your models, as well as the great paint work.
-
yeah thanks, I guess it's not THAT obvious unless you're a die hard G1 transformers fan :D
For me it was the obvious choice though, I got those headhunters first and needed a paintscheme and since I'm a big fan of the old cartoon the Seekers were the obvious choice, after that I just started looking at decepticons that fit

Latest Addition
(http://i325.photobucket.com/albums/k379/comkillserve/Starscream_zpsxi4ysgl7.png)
And a groupshot of the 3 basic Seekers
(http://i325.photobucket.com/albums/k379/comkillserve/Seekers_zpsszadzd1o.png)
and a shot together with the inspiration for their colourschemes

Those Transformers are in great shape...must be worth a pretty penny.
-
I wish, but they're all recent reissues not originals, although they are all near mint with the accessories still on the sprues and I usually keep them in their boxes
-
I was about to ask how you keep the stickers from yellowing. lol

The key is darkness and a pure nitrogen gas atmosphere.
Amazing flyers, nice to see the other two Decepticon jets get some love. Starscream with his sneaky ways somehow became an A lister on his own.
