Title: Savage World Bull
Post by: Admiral Benbow on June 27, 2015, 06:40:20 PM
A bit late, but as promised some more pics of my minotaur bull centaur I competed with in the last round of LPL9. It's from Marrow Productions' "Journey: Wrath of Demons" kickstarter range. He usually comes with a shield in each hand, but I decided he should get a proper weapon (from an old Grenadier ogre I think). It's a beautifully sculpted resin miniature and was mounted on a custom base using some cork and other bits and pieces. I resally loved painting it ...

I bought a new 20 MP camera for 59,- Euro yesterday and experimented a bit. I will use it when travelling as it's so tiny, but I was interested if it could be worth for figure photography. Well, the only difference to my trusty old one is that the new one doesn't have the great depth of field, but apart from that I like the results.

What a great work. I think the centaur saw the nakedness of the girls around him and turned red for shame.  ;)

I like the guy

Of course not, the ladies are amazons from Steve Saleh's very nice Lucid Eye range, distributed by http://arcanesceneryandmodels.co.uk/product-category/lucid-eye/ (http://arcanesceneryandmodels.co.uk/product-category/lucid-eye/). The amazon leader is the lovely barbarian queen from Copplestone miniatures.

Thanks for the information. It looks like they might mix in well with some models I bought from Maidenhead miniatures.
