Dead Earth Games are proud to announce the launch of our new fantasy war game The Shattered Crown on Kickstarter. Set against a backdrop of unfolding Civil War following the death of King Draven V, The Shattered Crown doesn't feature Orcs or Elves, but tells the stories of ambitious and flawed men, fighting for control of the Kingdom - but with more than a drop of myth and magic!
All the miniatures for the game are white metal and we have several prototypes already. The kickstarter campaign aims to fund two whole armies as well as the print version of the rulebook.

These are ace! Having been lucky enough to paint some up there lovely minis to work with. Multi part (Bodies, Arms and heads) You can choose from Crossbows, Sword/Shield and Spear options.
The Detail is superb.

Thanks guys! Please do check out the Kickstarter - I think we've suffered a bit these last few days with other big recent releases in the hobby!
At the moment we still have some Early Bird Large Army pledges - that's 70 metal miniatures for £99!

I like the look of this. Nice and realistic looking with proper sized weapons rather than swords made of tree trunks.

Thanks! I didn't want one of those scenerios where you look at the standard infantry on one side of a fight, and the gigantic spikey tree-mace fielding thing on the other and then "is there even a point rolling these dice?"
Of course, it's not all about the dice in The Shattered Crown either, with our activation system allowing some proper tactical play and bluff/double-bluff.
