This Project is about Caesar civil wars in Egypt and his based on my Rome Project (http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=63629.0)
As there is few pictorials informations about the egyptian army during the alexandria war of Caesar,
i decide to get my own view about the egyptian troops :
so, here it is the first test of converted 28 mm figurines for this new Project
(https://farm1.staticflickr.com/444/19077820209_01f8986059_b.jpg)
they are a cross over between a legionary and an egyptian soldier.

Of these 2 bowmen , the left one is without any changes. The other one lost his quiver for a shield and his bow for a khepesh, the egyptian sword.
Now he looks like an officer or a gang leader.....

Pretty sure I have some sitting in the never-gonna-get-painted pile :) and yes, they were probably bought in just such a sale. It will be excellent if I get some novel use out of them after so many years of "storage"...

Thank you mrtn.
i have them but i 'll finish before the pure egyptian ones.
Then i'll add some civilians from my Rome Project and i'll see if need more typical ones.
Alexandria was a very cosmopolite city at the Caesar period so there was a lot of differents peoples living there. o_o
-
Well after a very long break, i'm back on this Project....
with some new guests, like 3 egyptian soldiers (BTD conversion) and one female civilian (Foundry)

The Rome Project is the main one.
This one is for fun and add some varieties into scenarios/game situations.
