Title: Kings of War - the new rules are out and they're free!

Hello all!

I am excited that the new Kings of War rules have been released! After having a quick read, they seem to have made more than a few pretty major changes. Despite the changes, the game is very similar to how it used to be. You should be able to get the PDF here:

I will go through the rules in more detail, but the changes I've noted so far are:

• Army Composition has been fleshed out and more restrictions apply!
• Phalanx rules have changed drastically, no more extra attacks... Not sure if the old extra-attack rule is now incorporated with the unit profile or if it's dropped all together...
• Units hit in combat are now 'Disordered', which brings us back to the beta version of the rules.
• Elite and Vicious special rules have been changed from being able to re-roll one missed die, to being able to re-roll any unmodified rolls of 1

I like the look of what I've read. I was a kickstarter backer so looking forward to getting the hardback with all the chrome added.

The game looks good though. I was a latecomer to KoW but once Id played it I really enjoyed it. If nothig else it gives me a chance to dust off my old WHFB armies, and I started planning a Forces of Nature army as soon as the initial rules for them came out. Great concept!
