Card modelling... a steep learning curve but EXCELLENT fun! Thanks to Mark (Tin Shed Gamer) for the inspiration as this has been festering in my mind since I saw the Traction Engine and 8 inch Howitzer thread last year. I lifted Mark's template for the carriage for this piece. I bottled out of spoked wheels, but I guess I'll have to bite the bullet when I start on the 6 inch howitzer. Again, this is not a scale model but a model following the "ish" philosophy.... a 6 inch gun(ish).... something that looks like a 6 inch gun.

Absolutely totally brilliant Mark- you're really getting the hand of this scratch build thing....
If I'm honest, if you hadn't mentioned that it was a model that you had made with your own hands I wouldn't have known!
Kudos! :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*

I like it,now I've found it ;)
(Don't chicken out do the wheel's!)
The 'ish factor is what works best otherwise there would be no character to any thing just scale clones.
Mark.
