Title: Help needed - UK sailors and gasoline drums

Hello all

I need some brittish sailors in shorts and shirt for a ww2 project, situated in the mediterranean.
I have some from Pulp figures but from what i know the uniform goes untill 1941 and they are all in trousers and long sleve shirts.
Any help on manufacturers in 28mm?
Ideas to transform other figures are also welcome.

Also looking for gasoline drums and ammo crates and supplies (cheap because i will need a lot) preferably all from a european supplier.

How about perry desert rats and using Woodbine / gripping beast Naval heads from their ww1 range

Does the perry figures have the equipment sculped on the shirt?
I mean the ammo pouches.

BTW, if you want unarmed minis without equipement, the 25pdr crew will work :

First i will try to grab 1 sprue of the 8th army and convert it.

warning the woodbine heads on perry desert rats produce some kind of hydrocephalic soldiers ...  ;)
