Hi All,
We are testing as many sets of rules we can find for our Samurai campaign and would like some advice on rules for larger scale 28mm mass battles that keep a samurai flavour? So what do people use for there games?

Thanks Carlos we have acopies of KK1 and KK2 in our to test period, people are not too sure about the cards aspect, but we will see, thanks for the response.

Warlord Games have released a pdf Samurai for their Pike and Shot game.

I havn´t tried Pike and Shot but played their Hail Caesar and Black Powder, and these I like.

War and Conquest has Samurai lists and is a solid set of rules

Thank you for the replies.
I will mention Warlord Games rules again, there seems to be a few members that are not keen on the systems they produce but some like them so I will see if we can give them a go.
As for War in conquest, we have played them a few times now specifically for Samurai and they play a lot like Warhammer ancient with a slightly different mechanic, so far the feelings are mixed, perhaps when better Samurai specific info comes out they may play different. The feeling so far is that they seem generic and do not give a samurai feel. Also in testing dependent on the dice roles we have had Hatamoto units decimated by Ashigaru, which is fine but if it happens too many times due to a bad or good roll effect the campaign in an advers way.
Early days though. Thank you for the reccomendations I will pass them on.

I know peter pig do rules, they are targeted to 15mm but I hear the pre game sequence is very good, although I have never played KK2, they look like they will play well for the period

We've played the Peter Pig ones, generally found them very entertaining.
The rules are written for 15mm, but they work on stands of figures so should be easy enough to upscale if you use stands of figures for your 28mm.
Just increase all ranges/distances.
The pre-game sequence works nicely, and there is also the chance to challenge opposing commanders to single combat during the game.

Brookhurst Hobbies, Garden Grove , CA may have copies (?). I got my copy on Ebay - I think from the author If I'm not mistaken. :)

I'll take a look.I might just end up ordering a copy from Canada or the states but that ends up being pricey

Turns out we have a copy of KK1 and KK2 so will get back with what we think. Should be adding a review of War and Conquest to the blog.

Hideyoshi's Korean Invasion is a good read if you have no prior knowledge of the Imjin War, but I honestly can't justify the purchase with its flaws.(Joseon/Ming armaments)
