Brilliant!! :-* :-*
-
Rather good Darrell :-*
I like the pointing NCO. So much character in that miniature.
Much as I love Mike's sculpting as a rule, I do think a few of the rank and file in this particular range of figures look just a wee bit short / straight in the leg though.
But glad to see you making progress with your project :)
Who can fail to be seduced by tales of derring-do and desperate deeds on the NW Frontier?
'A scrimmage in a Border Station--
A canter down some dark defile--
Two thousand pounds of education
Drops to a ten-rupee jezail--
The Crammer's boast, the Squadron's pride,
Shot like a rabbit in a ride!'

Rob
I used AK British Uniform (the lightest in the set of three) mixed with black for the base colour, then a layer of AK British Uniform followed by successive layers of AK British Uniform with VMC Beige, that was mixed with successive layers by adding VMC Ivory- roughly seven layers in all!

The Mutiny stuff is still ongoing but I've just stated doing more work on Hastings as that's a demo game that scheduled for Salute next year and at this time it takes priority.
The pics of the Afghans should be up today. :)
