Title: Imperial Guard Valkyrie.
Post by: Pizzagrenadier on August 16, 2015, 11:19:45 PM
Hello folks. Just finished up an Imperial Guard Valkyrie. Simple color scheme and I went easy on the weathering. I like the kit a lot, and when you break it down into different tasks, it's not a bad kit. I had initially been a little intimidated by it. Now I just need three more  lol

Indeed. Very nice but fairly simple paintjob. If i ever get to do mine, it will be somewhat like this. ;-)

FramFramson: indeed, they travel ;)

Thanks guys :)

I did a little chipping on the bottom, but I'm just learning the spong technique, so I wanted to go easy until I get the hang of it. Besides, I think it's easy to go too much with it.

I really like the interior, maybe worth trying to get a crew member stood adjusting something? :)

The overall paint scheme is effective, it would be interesting to see it next to some troops or more armour to show as a 'squad' uniformity.

Thanks matthais-mouse. I have door gunners to go in there but haven't finished them yet. I also have two Steel Legion squads painted to go with it. I'll post a pic when the gunners are done of the whole force together.

Sounds jolly good :D I look forward to seeing them all together.
I have been toying with the idea of a Valkyrie for a while now and this has really given me a good idea as well as the confidence to take on the challenge so I may have future questions.  ALt hough I'm thinking of the forgeworld transport version rather than this version... :)
