Hey all,

Ill start with these two images :D

This building will be a huge tower, itll serve as a centerpiece for his board and also double as an objective for various scenarios.

Its based on this sketch I produced for him.

It's unanimous...an EXCELLENT START! I love tall buildings/ruins & you have some potentially UBERCOOL ones in the works. Keep up the FINE WORK!

EXCELLENT PROGRESS! The covered & uncovered walkways look particularly nice...perfect for a diving charge & subsequent "SPLAT".
-
Everything in the pictures indicates this will be very, very pretty terrain!
Looking forward to seeing more progress (and snagging some choice ideas and techniques...)!
-
Nice. :D
-
Very impressive looking. I do like the idea of walkways on the tops of the damaged walls.
What's the pink gloopy stuff on the first picture?

Painting will start today ;)

Looking soooo good :D Well done :)

You don't hang about do you!
I'd procrastinate over every piece of foam or wood - rather than getting on and getting big structures built.
These look very good, and very playable, giving cover, height, blocking movement, and giving easy access to the interiors.
-
It is REMARKABLE that you can achieve such a high quality of craftsmanship in such a short period of time. VERY IMPRESSIVE!
-
Impressive I like the use of pink foam, foamboard and gypsum stone casting; three separate terrain making techniques to make this one set of terrain.
-
Wow you work fast really progressing nicely

haha not really, when I do commission work for clients I try and work fast. Mostly because I have tons of different jobs on the go at once (plus my personal ones haha :P)

Alrighty, had a very productive day today, got the first two buildings more or less done, as well as some of the cover piles.

Cover stuffs
I did the water with envirotex which I got at michaels for %50 off :-* I put a few clumps of foliage and some broken wood in there too (as well as put some brown paint in the resin to give it a stinky mordheim look)

Very nice. The paintwork really makes the terrain 'pop'.

Cheers mate :) Its actually just a combination of both, I tend to drybrush it first and then add the shading and "rust" streaks afterwards
-
They look amazing you must have one happy customer.thanks for the inspiration
-
Excellent work!
-
Even without considering how very quickly you completed The Project, you did a MOST IMPRESSIVE job. The pieces are BEAUTIFUL, AND, with the outside scaffolding, the scope for swashbuckling feats of daring-do is FANTASTIC! VERY WELL DONE!
-
:o really nice
-
Wonderful painting the browns really make the set pulling all the different ruin elements together. :)

Thanks mate! :) The scaffolding was my personal favourite part to make lol
-
Fantastic terrain! It combines the oldschool look and vibrant colours with 'modern' materials and techniques which makes it really stand out, but still oozing the atmosphere of the old days :-*
Thanks for sharing
-
Your work is just amazing....the paint work really transforms the basic build...amazing!
-
