Hi
I got my hands on some pictures of upcomming minis from FireForge games. Arab Armoured Archers for the Crusades that in the pictures are about 99% done and hopefully they will be released by the end of this month I have been told. I have a few more pictures at my blog. Very nice

They do look good, and very much better than the Gripping Beast plastic Arabs. What a shame these look to be another resin set, rather than plastic which would be way more useful... :(

As far as I been told they Will be in resin, as the erlier crusader archer pack. Indeed plastic would be much more fun.

They look really good

They look OK but I'd be worried about the bows if I were using them an anything except multi based stands- even then, i'd be a little scared of dropping them!
I can also understand Richard's reservations about them not being plastic and thus conducive to his mighty hybrid creations!
Otherwise they look the part :-*

Resin is far cheaper to set up and produce though, and sees a MUCH faster return on investment. I would suspect they are getting some products out quickly to raise funds for the next plastics. Or maybe they just don't think the sales of these will be high enough to warrant the £50k investment cost.

Exactly. Armoured Arab bowmen, not exactly a core troop type for ANY army...
