I started building terrain for Frostgrave! Here are my attempts.

Wow, I'm getting cold just looking at it!
-
I think it is as the Frozen City should look! Yet I live in the NE of New England so snow really does look like icing on a cake!
-
It really looks
cold cool! :) Interesting technique for snow.
-
They look great thanks for sharing
-
Very cool buidings...... :D
Seriously, very nice work. May have to "borrow" some ideas......

Wowzers great terrain!
-
Yes ... reallly nice.
-
Those look fantastic. How did you manage your snow effect. Did you apply plaster once you completed painting the ruins? The statue is really sharp.
-
All the snow is done with Liquitex Modelling paste! Dries white and hard as a rock! MUCH better than the old way of using PVA and Baking soda!
-
I finished some more odd bits of terrain!
-
I was talking with some of the guys in the Frostgrave group when black powder came up! So being the sort of guy to push the envelope I threew this warband together. Introducing "The Ne'er Do Wells!"
-
Another denizen of the frozen Massachusetts wastes! Good job, looks like home :)
-
The beginning of a new warband! This is Smedley! He is a very hard working apprentice! Doesn't eat much and his mistress is very happy with his job performance! lol
-
Smedley remembers me of one of mine collegues :D
Great miniature, which manufacturer makes it?
-
Fantastic scenery, makes me crave my Grandmothers X-mas cake.
Love the Smedley figure, I too would like to know who manufactures him.
-
Great looking scenery mate, the snow effect where it's drooping is great, like you've used icing! :)
-
Smedley is a Reaper mini that comes with I believe a dark elf wizardess? It was given to me a bit ago. But he is a Reaper for sure!
-
Smedley comes with 03110: Nathrae, Dark Elf Cleric:

The terrain looks absolutely gorgeous! Seems the Liquitex molding paste would be great also for my next Kings of War project!
Denizen Kane, which type of the paste do you recommend? I have noticed there are both matte and gloss variants. Is there any chance you could write a short tutorial? :)
-
Matte
-
Love that scenery - bravo!
Must get me a Smedley...
-
Smedley is quite the man! Well skellie....
-
I don't think I ever told you this, but seeing your terrain, over on the DMScotty Boards, is what finally pushed me over the edge and got me to try out Frostgrave. Seriously great stuff.

Glad to make a difference! Thanks! :D
