Title: Bish bosh camo
Post by: Dags on September 13, 2015, 10:30:17 PM
Every now and then I get the urge to paint camo.

The current British one is a bit of a nightmare so tried to find a way of making it look effective without spending donkey's on it...

Indeed. Personally i do not keep up with all the newest camo variations and wether or not they are paint-able but i think this looks very good. ;-)

I like it,

it appears quite dark compared to the original, but I like it. But first time I hear it is called Bish Bosh!

It's not that the camouflage is called "bish bosh", it's Dags being modest about his painting.  "Bish bosh" is a slang phrase meaning "quickly and/or sloppily done."  From the building and interior decorating trades, originally, I think.

another slang I have to learn...  :D

(Note: I had the impression it was something referring to the painting style, but 1) the painting was good; 2) the joke about the camo name sounded good to my devious sense of humour)
