Title: Frostgrave Terrain Project
Post by: ironmammoth on September 25, 2015, 10:30:08 AM
I have decided to build a set of terrain for use with Frostgrave (and more generic use). I am aiming to include all of the specific pieces used in the scenarios in the books too.

You can follow my progress on my blog:-

Having seen some of your other terrain projects I am very excited about seeing how this turns out
Looks great so far....can't wait to see it with one of your paint jobs.

I have imagined a very similar project to cover that scenario ... sady it is only in my head so far. :D

Don't be shy about re- posting all the WIP shots here.

Was leaving the curved rings on the cardboard tube uncovered intentional? I think it looks fine personally but I'm curious if you had thought of trying to obscure those or not.

I had planned to obscure them, possibly by smearing filler over them. However, it slipped my mind. I may try to do something with it during the weathering stage. My main goal with this project was to achieve a reasonable finish in as quick a turn around time as possible. If I was going for full on diorama quality I would certainly have done more with it, possibly sticking bricks over the outside of the tube...

You are making excellent progress, and you've given me some great ideas on how to build my own.
