Title: 13th century personalities?
Post by: Khurasan Miniatures on October 08, 2015, 01:27:14 AM
I'm making a range of 13th century European figures in 15/18mm scale, and would like to make some personality figures -- Kings, emperors and other famous princes, or famous commanders.

The range is for central/Western Europe for starters but will include Spain eventually and Eastern Europe too.

Dates are roughly 1230-1300. Which personalities should be made?  I'm thinking Frederick II Hohenstaufen, St Louis, and Charles of Anjou but would welcome suggestions as to others.

Henry III, Edward I, Simon de Montfort; Baron's War personalities all that sort of thing.

How about some personalities from the Albigensian Crusade affair - Raymond of Toulouse, Roger Trencavel Simon de Montfort (pere) etc?

I little more generic, but I would love to see some fighting bishops in 15mm.  I had to make mine with green stuff.  If you wanted to make them "personalities", perhaps the Bishop of Durham from Falkirk in 1298?
