Hi while I am waiting for the Dragon Rampant rules to be released I'm doing some prep for it.
The first bunch of armoured elite Orcs of the 'Black Skull' tribe.
Four more to do. All miniatures designed by Kev Adams (Citadel and Heartbreaker).

Delightful! They communicate the mood and style of whatever fantasy world they belong to very effectively. Lots of cozy "old school flair".
BTW, I must remember for next year: Paint orcs in orctober! lol

Kev Adams did lots of stuff for the Vor game. You can still buy them from Ral Ral Partha Europe. Some very cool sculpts that fit to Orcs and Goblins.

Luvverly old minis and great painting! :-*
I plan to get Dragon Rampant when it comes out, to have a ruleset for which I can start relatively small armies (I get bored painting skeletons for my God of Battles army), and I enjoy following other projects like this a LOT! :)
-
I haven't seen the thread until this morning: Those orcs are lovely stuff.
Keep on posting!

Very close. I think it is the blade of an Heroquest orc.

These are great! I'm particularly impressed by the Blanchian wavy-line/flame/tentacle shield - always the hardest design to get right, I've found, but you've nailed it here!
