Hello strangers :D I have been neglecting this forum for awhile so thought I'd add my view on Frostgrave.
I have painted a Necromancers Warband which uses some old and some new figures. I was going to use some Black Tree and GW Wraiths for a Victorian (IHMN) project but that stalled. The Wraiths fit this Warband perfectly if you ignore them as actually being dead :o
The painting turned out to be very dark which did not photograph well. I also did up some old GW ruins.

Some old GW and Bob Murch monsters are on my painting bench right now. I intend to paint up a Sigilists Warband up next which should be a bit more colourful.
I was also thinking of reusing the Monsters for a Victorian English setting as I have a few figures left unpainted for that project.
On the other hand I could do an Eastern setting as I have painted The Black Dragon Tong and could use my Hopping Vampires and Terracotta Zombies for that as well. o_o

Flesh looks great! How did you do it?

They look creepy, very good!

Love the dark look to your necro warband. I think the wraith fit really well, too.

Hi all. Sorry this forum moves along too fast for me these days to keep up with.
The flesh was done with a very dark base with lots of Ivory colours mixed in. I cannot remember what colours I used even though it was just a couple of weeks ago. :( I had to go over and over the two plastic figures quite a few times as there was not really much detail to work with.
I have painted some monsters which turned out were not sculpted by Bob Murch after all. Andrew Chernak sculpted them plus I did some old GW figures and a Copplestone ghost got a bit of extra work done to it as it had an old paint job.

I also painted a Grenadier Dragon for my Black Dragon Tong but forgot to include it in the photos, sorry I explained things a bit better on the Blog >:D I have just started to strip some paint off some more of the old Grenadier figures for my next batch of painting.

I'm truly impressed by your work in the minis. They are creepy and cool at the same time.

I like how the soldier with the lantern looks a lot like Emperor Palpatine.

Very cool paint job and great figures as well. Very nicely themed warband.
