Title: Pouppeville D Day - Devon Wargames Group
Post by: carojon on October 11, 2015, 02:34:10 PM
Hi all,
We played an interesting little scenario using IABSM3 and recreating the fight to control the little village of Pouppeville on D Day.

With Pouppeville on exit one from Utah beach, speed was of the essence to clear the village of its German garrison and our game's result rested on that key aspect. If you would like to see how things turned out and the adaptations made to the scenario then follow the link to the DWG Blog

Thanks grant, glad you enjoyed it.

Yes you can understand why the branding of products is a real science given the risks of what a name can suggest from one language to another.

Love the look of the game.
Excellent write up.
I have a lot of 28mm figures for this period.
Will have to set up a game.
Looks like it will be a great battle to play out.

Thank you.
This is an interesting little battle, but you need a time limited objective as the numbers and quality of US troops will overcome the German garrison in time.

It will look great in 28mm.
