The Zombies
The Zombie Incident of 1888 is a Gothic Horror Alternate History Zombie Apocalypse set in Victorian London, ZI for short.  This is a project entirely of my own creation all right reserved.

The Incident began with a series of gruesome murders in Whitechaple in which the victims had been disemboweled and organs were missing. A cover story for these victims of cannibal attacks was created by the Metropolitan Police where in a demented Doctor or Butcher dismember these people with knives. At the same time the East End began experiencing a rash of assaults in which the motive was not robbery. The motives for these attacks where unknown.

I have abandoned my old Victorian Zombie Apocalypse thread for this one which will contact story and finished figures.

Interesting idea, blame something people will understand as opposed to zombies.

Lascar sailors working on a ship docked in London harbor.

Medical authorities examined a dark skinned sailor of unknown nationality with this medically unusual condition captured by the Metropolitan Police. The Medical Examiner's belief was that Zombisim was a new plague from the Far East spread to London by lascar sailors. Publication of this theory touched off very bloody riots throughout the East End. Where these clashes the brutal race riots the government said they were? Or where the hard scrabble East Enders locked in a desperate battle for survival against a growing zombie horde?
