Title: M&T at BLAM
Post by: Dr DeAth on October 12, 2015, 06:49:11 PM
Few pics from the M&T game that Malamute ran at last weekend's BLAM. Figures are the excellent Galloping Major Miniatures from Malamutes (growing) collection. Buildings from Grand Manner.

Excellent! Especially the Mohawk in the last photo ;D

The Huron look like they are attacking the Franche de la Marine, but they were actually in flight at the time. lol

If anyone else at BLAM took any photos then please post them on this thread. :)

This was another game where the timing caught me out. The set up looked fantastic and from everything I heard it was bloody. I loved the leaf litter on the cabin roofs.

I was sad to miss this one at BLAM but I take comfort that I've played previously.  Lovely figure collection.  8)

Cracking game Nick. Thanks for letting us have a game...  and letting us win it (so much for the bribe with the pint Andy Oldskolrebel! ;))

I'm afraid you were in that corner with the crap light Nick. These are the only half decent photos I've got....

Brilliant game this, top notch figures and terrain. Run out of time to play it though so I just sat there and watched the French get a bloody nose in the last game which was just as much fun.

Jeff, I'm seriously tempted to re run it next year as I had a lot if fun seeing how the scenario played out so differently each time.  :)

Gorgeous figs and terrain. I love the touches like the different shades of stone on the chimney and the leaves on the roof. Wow!

I concur that this was a great game to play.  The terrain was top notch, the figures were brilliantly painted and the game so much fun to play.  Thanks Nick.

Having bought the rules but never played I was so impressed with how the game ran that I am making this my next project.

We played three games during the day, two of which the French won pretty convincingly. It was the third game where they came unstuck and got taken down with very light casualties for the British. The tactics displayed by the French were no different than in the previous two games. Just a  bad run of the cards and poor dice rolls I think... ;)
