Title: Figure suggestions sought.
Post by: Noverre Man on October 17, 2015, 07:58:49 AM
Am in the process of putting together a series of leagues/warbands/parties through history to indoctrinate my trainee grand-daughter.
   Each to consist of Governess type figure, four feisty sisters plus a gofer and possibly pet, hangers on also required.
     Vikings are covered thanks to Annie, but suggested figures wanted please for ;

Prehistoric, Medieval. 17th c, 18th c and Pulp 20s-40s.

   Think The Five Fusileers

Pulp 20-40s from Pulp Figures and Copplestone Gangsters. Victorian from Hinterland.

For medeival, Victorian, and Pulp, maybe also try Foundry. They generally have sets just like the ones you're after, but thier webstore can be a bit of a maze to navigate.

Available in the UK from Fighting 15s:

Worth comparing as the AUD is pretty weak at the moment, might be cheaper from Australia.

Thanks gents, Had forgotten about Eureka, individual prices are quite reasonable, if only they had a smaller range, my bank manager would be a happier man.

Artizan Designs have fewer than I thought, and mostly under their pulpy Thrilling Tales range, but there are a few good 'un's there.

Some good ideas there, thanks.  Any specific ideas for a Band of Nurses anyone?

I have some, along with plenty of other 'Ladies' stuff for the Pulp period.

     Vikings are covered thanks to Annie,

If your using Annie's services anyway, she has a bunch of great figures for moderns/pulps from foundry artizan etc.
She may be your one stop shop ;)

cheers
