Painted this at the weekend, a veteran trudging through the desert on his way to his next battle, quiver slung on his back to make walking easier, covered in dust and no doubt very thirsty. Colour scheme based on the synagogue mural, Dura-Europos, he could equally represent a Palmyran. New from our Sasanian range. These have been sculpted with separate heads and over time more of different nationalities will be released. I'm working on a command at the moment which should be with Keith sometime this week. Adam

Very nice. Keith sent me a wee baggy of them the other day in with some other stuff I'd ordered. I'm concentrating on Pyrrhus and his crew right now, and trying not to get sidetracked, but seeing that photo, I might just have to slap some paint on them sooner rather than later…
…And then there's the rest of the (globe-hatted!) infantry in my Sassanid army - hundreds of them! Oh dear.

Not up with Adam's standards but never-the-less I had a go.

Very nice! An army I'll love to tackle at some stage.

Nice looking figures - good idea about the different heads. Great to see no globe hats! Be interested to see what the rest of the infantry are like, more pain for the wallet!

Next pack is ready, it is a command of 4 figures with 6 separate heads, can be used for most of the infantry of the period and region. I have painted some up in my usual style, quick and for wargaming only :)

More javelin/spear armed packs coming next with more heads.
Cheers
