Another fun game! My boy, especially, is really taken with Frostgrave...it's really fired his imagination! Anyway, the rest of the AAR is up on my blog here (http://ihavewroughtmysimpleplan.blogspot.co.uk/2015/10/the-tomb-of-barbarian-king-frostgrave.html)!

Wow, a runaway victory there!
A very enjoyable AAR - bravo!

Wonderful stuff Gordon

Great report, how does using a high quality band of 5 compare to a larger band of lower rated figures?
-
A conclusive victory! I'll have to get my daughter back to playing Frostgrave, we've (meaning I've) been distracted by other games lately.

Awesome, love the terrain, figures and the comic book bat rep.

Another great AAR, and lovely visuals. I can't seem to find any reference to marksman Alan's exploits, have I missed it or was he uneventful? Thanks for sharing

Thanks for all the kind words!

I couldn't say as we've only played using these two warbands. I get the impression from various posts and blogs that numbers beat quality in the end, though.

Well spotted! I meant to mention him...but he basically spent the game standing atop one of the ruined corners trying to get line of sight and missing when he did. Luckily for me!

Lucky indeed. I think he should lose the title 'marksman' if he keeps that up :)

Nice report...enjoyable read!
