We just went live with our new Kickstarter campaign - The First Afghan War 1839.
This campaign is designed to allow us to cover all the troop types needed for the conflict as well as developing a line of 28mm resin adobe buildings. The British units will also be suitable for other conflicts such as The Canadian Rebellions and The First Opium War, the Afghans for any conflict between the mid 18th Century and The Third Afghan War.

Haw-haw! Fwashman at 4000! Excellent!
Great looking minis - unfortunately I am rather ... impoverished lol

Very tempted by this, but I prefer skirmish games, will there be a pledge available for a mixed selection? Also any plans for minis to reproduce the Last Stand painting.

Another good today which saw us unlocking the first Stretch Goal - The Bengal Light Cavalry in Tunic and Shako. This unit will consist of Officer, Standard Bearer, Cornet and 5 x Troopers. Additional troopers can be added at the end of the campaign during the Pledge Manager phase.
We have also added a brand NEW Initial Unit - British Infantry in Greatcoat and Mixed Headgear Skirmishing. This unit will consist of 20 x miniatures including command and will contain firing line poses as well as NEW poses to allow you to recreate the famous last stand painting as much as possible.
We have also added a better picture of the Afghan Tribesmen Advancing.
SO how long will it take to unlock the next Stretch Goal?

Discounted packs of figures from the Sikh Wars range have now been made available to backers as extras/alternates to the initial set of KS packs.
Means there are many more options for skirmish suitable figures available, troops advancing, loading and firing rather than just the classic marching pose.
Also confirmed that the pledge manager for this will remain open for a while after the KS so extra packs can be added via the KS or paypal.

Only 5 days to go, lovely figures, but the KS seems to be dropping down a bit, I hope we get some last minute pledges as I would really like the Dr Brydon figure. Unfortunately I can only pledge for three units at the moment as this is all my funds wil stretch to, this will still give me the Gandamak British and two troops of Afghans, enough for a skirmish and hopefully I can add a few extra units in the pledge manager.

. I'm in the same boat mate, hope we can get the good Doctor too.

The KS has been bouncing around the £4k for a week or so now, hopefully making the Afghan Artillery packs available will bring in some increased pledges.
I am in for a couple of packs of Native Infantry, the Gandamak pack, Bengal Cavalry and a couple of the new Afghan packs. Hopefully I can get some artillery and more Brits on the pledge manager after Christmas.
