Hullo!
Might any one have the events cards or pictures of the cards for TTG's Soldiers of the Queen? I found the rules, but it came without cards. How is it as a set of rules? I know it's for larger engagements.
Also, is there a Too Fat Lardies set of rules for late 19th century skirmish games? Is it good? How does it compare to others?
cheers,
George

I played SotQ a couple of times many years ago, but can't remember too much about them, to be honest (maybe not a good sign?). May still have the rules somewhere, will check at the weekend if no-one else assists with the cards beforehand.
Regarding TFL skirmish rules: there have been several supplements and articles in their 'specials' for their Napoleonic 'Sharp Practice' rules covering adaptations for other mid/late nineteenth century periods (Mex-Am, ACW, Indian Mutiny, Italian Wars of Unification, Franco-Prussian War etc).
If you're looking for colonial rules for the period c.1860-1899, there's no official supplement for SP (yet!) but I'm hoping that will be rectified shortly after the release of the revised and updated SP2 in Spring 2016. You'll also find some adaptations for the Zulu War on the Wyvern Warriors website.
