Excellent work Kai. Painting. Sculpting. Terrain building. What else are you going to do. :o
My comments in regards to them being zombies:
• The one with the twisted leg just looks like there should be the hint of bone protruding (or bulging beneath the pants). The leg is twisted far enough for that.
• The skin seems too tight and smooth for zombies, especially on the shirtless guy.
Keep it up!

thanks for the comments. I see what you mean with the bone protruding. I'll have a go adding a bit next time I mix some putty to see if I can get it to look reasonable.
About the skin being tight, it doesn't worry me that much. The problem, now that you mentioned it is that the face don't quite match the body. As in the face looks like the more loose skin type of zombie but the skin on the figure is still tight and fresh, if you get what I mean. oh well.... I'll keep that in mind for the next one (I have 3 more unfinished one on the desk)

Oh...fantastic. I think the torsos may be just a bit long, but they definately exude zombieesness (i made that word up) immediately when I look at them.
When do we see the Fat Goblin line of minis?
-
I thought so too about the torso. he is wearing his pants really low too which isn't helping.
my line of miniatures? no plans to do so so probably never. I do hope to get these cast up at some point. I'll try a few more and see how
-
If you get them cast up sign me up for a set!

Just amazing!! :o
You guys make me wish the day had another 6 more hours in order to try to finish all the projects you inspire me...
-
Great stuff, I am sure they will paint up well when cast up. :)
-
Especially the face is done very good. Most zombies just look rotten, this here look really brain-less/hungry and scary.
At the 3rd one you could maybe sand down the calf. It's too fat, it's looking like the legs are going down from the thigh in one line. The legs of the other girl are much better.
-
thanks fellas!
I know what you mean about the third one. I redid one leg twice and the other three times and still I'm not happy with it. Now it looks a bit cartoony :? but its still the best of the previous ones.
-
Excellent stuff!
If you get them cast, put me down for some! :D
PM
-
Yeah, Kai, when are you going to have these things done so they can be bought by the brain-devouring masses? :D
-
dunno... I was originally thinking of doing 5 then looking for options to cast them. I started 5 armatures at the same time, and only managed to finish these 3.
One of the other ones I'm having difficulty getting the trousers folds the way I like (and since I sculpt from bottom up, that means almost none of it is done!)
The last ones was going to be a fat zombie but I built up its leg muscles too much and now it looks too healthy (and a bit weird) so it might end up becoming something else...
