Hey Guys....
I have a few old school pewter minis that are have broken weapons. For example, some swords have just a milimiter of their blades, others are broken at the hilt. Same with spears/halberds etc.
Anybody have a tutorial.... or is going to be fixing some of their own minis weapons and can do a tutorial that even a neophyte like me could follow?
Thanks!

No tutorial, but I usually remove the remaining weapon and either file to make a flat surface to attach a plastic sword, or drill out the hand and insert a wire spear. Hope that helps

Same, although I'd drill out the hand for the sword as well and file a new weapon down from a flat strip of brass.
Failing that, cut the hand off at the wrist and pin on a new hand holding a weapon of your choice. As long as you can match the hand size, this is a pretty easy option work-wise.

Same as Tyrionhalfman & Major_Gilbear - trim the broken weapon back, drill a suitable sized hole and install the new one.
I flatten pins or the excess of thinner spear shafts to make swords, shape them with a Dremel or flat needle file.
I have a hardened steel block to use as an anvil but you can use a modellers anvil or a 'lump hammer'
