Title: Bonsai style ceramic/wooden figures, any interest?
Post by: nic-e on December 17, 2015, 09:14:04 PM
Evening chaps,
I've been interested in making some ceramic fantasy figures in the style of bonsai figurines for a while, 28mm scaled.
I love the idea of games like frostgrave/ronin played on a table top zen garden.

(not my picture, just a reference.)

I've also been thinking of some carved wooden/stone figures of your basic d&d classes for rpg gamers, finished with bone/mother of pearl.

Obviously i'd be making these either in small runs or as commisions, so they'd be close to games workshop level prices per figure (£10-£15) ,But i just want to know,if such a product existed, would anyone here be tempted by them?

Potentially :)
I keep thinking that there is a possible game using the  ~30mm bronze norse god figures from Viking Crafts, so carved or similar ideas appeal...
