Hey Flagsofwar, I follow all your projects, but I had a question for you.  I have a ton of prepainted WOTC  miniatures.  Would it be easy to play Imperial assault without buying a ton of expansions?  Can you find the character cards online?

Ill have to pass on that one mate. Ive never actually play Imperial Assault. Having non IA characters is a reason ill be mostly play 7tv.

Great stuff Iain.  :D

Are you intending to use any of the main characters or invent some of your own for games?

Ill stick to the main characters and then maybe take it from there. The Star Wars miniatures range has some of the obscure characters which is good.

You do NOT need most of the expansions, the starter box has all cards for (IIRC) Han, Chewie, General Weiß, Vader, Luke, IG-88 and the Guard Champion. You even get markers for them.
The expansions give you the minis and some extra stuff.

Thanks Agis,
Perhaps it is worth a second look, I have so many Wotc minis.

By the way you still owe me a Han Solo miniature lol. I know you have two!

Good work FLagsofwar!

It is worse I still have some more WotC Solos...  ::)

But honestly, if you want the WotC repainted Han, just make me an irresistible offer...  :)

Sorry Agis, I'm just teasing, I have so many Han Solo miniatures, and in 3 different scales!  Look at what Star Wars has done to us!

I have ordered a load of the Arcadian Guard from Victoria Miniatures to see how they scale. I think they will be great looking Rebel Troopers. The rifles will certainly pass for A280 blasters. I just hope they scale well with them  o_o

Excellent Agis. You're project is what made me want to do my own. Ill be using 7tv to small forces but are your rules for larger games?

With my Victory Decision Future Combat rules you can play SW easily with 20-30 plus some walkers or flyers per side.
The 7tv SW set made me thinking about doing the same for ViDe, I was always reluctant since I feared Copyright hassles. But a free supplement might me OK.
