That setup reminds me of an area of Norwich I used to live in.
Bloody gorgeous setup. You chaps are very lucky.
As has been requested by others, any chance of a recap on the game?

Give me another one of those Bolshevik firecrackers. I think I fell asleep in the snow! :o
I could have sworn that they would never break through the Maginot line :-[

Well the game started with a lone bomber crossing the table with a stray bomb falling on the bank. The plane then crashed in the reservoir! The local Home guard on hearing this set off to protect it. Meanwhile regular army units had been on manoeuvres and had been attracted by the bomber going down. A second home guard unit were dispatched to the sea front. Just at that time three things occured. A French Navy boat landed on the beach. Polish paratroopers arrived at the railway station and a man tried to steal a car! Each player had control of a section of figures including the local Police. We had 12 players in the game all with a mission and with character profiles. Oh did I mention that Winston Churchill was stopped over at the Hotel! So to cut what became chaos short. The Polish Paratroopers were Germans as was the French Navy. The Police tried to arrest the Man who was after car. I think they were IRA. The Aircrew were trying to get to the Sea front (failed) to get a boat. They walked it to the conflict between the regulars and the Germans. It all got very complicated. The Beer flowed and it came to an end about 01:00 in the morning. Many thanks to all at Shrewsbury.

That is a wonderful looking setup you have there. I'm about to paint the Foundry Dad's Army figures myself.

Who makes the lady with the pram?
Thanks, Ian

Who makes the lady with the pram?
Looks like it could be a Bob Murch figure.

Looks like it could be a Bob Murch figure.
That was my first thought, but I couldn't see it on the Pulp site.
-
What a great set-up, Tym, and the game sounds like a right chaotic laugh too.
:-* :-*

The lady with the Pram I think is an old RAFM figure part of their Call of Cthulhu range. I seem to remember there was an Octopus in the Pram? Code: RAF02917
