I have long had an interest in the Barbary Wars.
All Marines learn the history and the Marines part in it while in boot camp.
For me that was in 1971.
Somewhere out in the mess of my garage I have a book about the march
the movie is about.
Read it many years ago, so long in fact I don't remember the name.
Now I will have to go a dig into the mess and try and find it.
Serves me right for having purchased so much stuff in the last few years.

I have heard via the grapevine there maybe some figures in 28mm being worked on for release latter this year....
The film is good glad to see the Greek Mercenaries getting some coverage as some of Steve Barbers Greeks can be used, typical Hollywood of the time the Arab costumes however are wrong!,, Eurekas Turkish pirates can be used, the Greek Maniates (Steve Barber) paint up nicely as Greek pirates
