Title: Dark age Warriors, best bib and tucker...
Post by: Harry Faversham on January 24, 2016, 10:59:06 AM
Which camp do you reside in for your hairy bothered blokes with big choppers... looking like a 70s glamrock band in sykodelic stripey trues, or a bunch of tatty binmen festeringly painted with scratch and sniff month old undercrackers?

The latter.....

Mind, having said that there's a colour wheel which shows some surprisingly varied colour provided to me by one of my Early Medieval re-enactors:

I like my Dark Age dudes to have at least one bit of colourful clobber on them (the wealthier warriors at least, skirmishers can make do with a skiddy chamois leather), but slightly weathered to take the shine off it a little. The more prominent the dude, the more eye-catching I make his clothing.
