Hi !
This is the paddle gunboat "Adarjan" from the White Russian Caspian Sea Fleet during the RCW !
At the beginning it's an (excellent) Reviresco kit : the "WaterWitch"
http://www.tin-soldier.com/waterwitch.html
(Printed cardboard with lead artillery and details such ladders , riddings fittings , vents , stantions ...)
I replace the cardboard lifeboat by plastic lifeboats and the towel came from a plastic kit ...
The lenght of the boat is about 75 cm (2,2 feet !?)
Some skills are needed but it's a fantastic (and not expensive !) kit , and an excellent idea from John Mc Ewan !
Next will be the "Minos" freighter but i would like to slightly modify it to an Seaplane Tender so it will take time and skills ;D
I hope you like the poor old "Adarjan" , a mid 19th century old boat who had to fight for the Whites against the Reds (and Turks !) for Baku and the Caspian Sea :'(

Great work!
-
Amazing! Excellent work there!
-
It looks great!
But I would have replaced the artillery to more modern field guns and machine guns.
And still you have a flag - upside down :)

John makes some excellent paper models.
You have take it to the next level.
Love it.

A lovely piece of work! Though it does appear the crew are under the impression they're in the Serbian navy rather than the Siberian :D
-
What a magnificent piece - well done!!! :-* :-* :-*

Thanks Ataman & Ignatieff
I'm currently working on HMS "Alader Yussanoff" , a little Caspian Sea Tanker used as Seaplane Tender by Royal Navy for the White Russians , who later owned the boat re-chistianed as "Volga"
It's an Reviresco kit (Freighter Minos) but heavily modified ! (Nearly 1 meter long now)
-
a 'little' tender thats nearly 1m long o_o o_o o_o
-
Yes at scale it's a less than 100 m long ship , a little ship ;D
-
That a serious amount of work. Perfectly put together :-* :-* :-*
Looking forward to seeing the Seaplane Tender :o
