The latest addition to NEUCRAFTMODELS' 1/56 model kit range. Features of this model kit:
The surf shield can be placed forwards or folded backwards.
The rudder and the propeller are faithfully represented.
A piece of clear film is included in the kit to make two pieces of window glasses (10.5mmx6.6mm each).
Suggested Painting Scheme for US vehicles: overall olive drab (use Vallejo Brown Violet Model Colour 70.887).
The Ford GPA Amphibian Jeep was an amphibious version of the WWII Ford GPW Jeep. 12,778 vehicles were produced by March 1943. After the Sicily landings of September 1943, most GPA’s were routed to Russia under the Lend-Lease program.
GPAs were also used in action North Africa, Normandy France, Holland and the South Pacific. They were also used by the British, Canadians and Free French/Fighting French.

In Free French infantry regiments in Italy, there were 11 Ford GPA and 66 Jeeps
In the Free French Motorized Recce Regiments ( mostly Spahis ) , there were at least 1 Ford GPA in each Platoon .
