Hello gamers. I'm looking for suggestions for 10mm Fantasy armies. I have some great Landscknech figures from Warmonger minatures. http://www.warmonger-miniatures.com/ (http://www.warmonger-miniatures.com/)
and I need some oponents for them to fight. I know about Pendraken but wanted to make sure I didn't miss any.

There's Kallistra, but I've got a vague feeling they are actually just repacked Pendrakens (?)

And there's Magister Militum:

cheers

If you can find GW's line of 10mm Warmaster figures, those are some great looking little guys. You'll have to hit eBay et al. to find them, though.

The best on the market are probably from Copplestone (again not USA):- http://www.copplestonecastings.co.uk/range.php?range=FAN
Also if you can get it for a decent price The Battle of Five Armies game give you a good start. There are a lot of figures in the box:-

Not to mention The Battle of the Five Armies range. Both were rather nice ranges.

Getting expensive now though... especially the metals! I've been chasing them on ebay for ages, but they always go over my budget.

Always been my issue with anything GW and it just gets worse once they go out of production

I think most of the manufacturers have been mentioned.
Pendraken, Kallistra and Magister Militum have the biggest ranges. Some of Kallistras stuff is based on Pendraken figures, but in strips and often slightly converted, but they also have a lot their own stuff too.
Eureka in Austrailia have some good stuff, but often more as a complement to other ranges.
Copplestone are some of the nicest figures, but they don't have too many packs.
The GW Warmaster stuff is genrally good, the more common stuff, Empire, Elves, Undead tends to go for an OK price. The BoFA plastics are mixed, the good guys are nice. The goblin foot are fine if a little regimented the wolf riders less so. The metals are very nice but very hard to get hold of.
It can be well worth looking at 15mm ranges too, Splintered Light in the USA have some very nice figures, I've used their Tree Trolls, Dryads and armoured Ogres with my 10mm figures and all fit in well.
Old Glory are worth a look, but I think they only do historicals.

You also have http://www.polarfox.info/ and http://www.trolls.cz/

Did the 10mm 'Evil Men' - and attendant trolls and dragons and things - from that Indiegogo ever appear in a shop?
-
No - but Yann (the sculptor) did say he was thinking about trying to get them setup with someone to sell them.
They are very nice figures, perhaps a touch smaller than some other ranges, but very very detailed.

Look what just appeared on the LAF bazaar:

I (finally) made a shop for the 10mm Evil Men founded through Indiegogo three years ago.

I've got a black primed and assembled Warmaster Orc army if you're interested. Also, I've got more Landsknecht. :D Reiters in another month, if I had to guess.

Eureka USA has really nice stuff. Their chaos dwarves, snake men, fantasy African, and lizard men are all complete armies. As mentioned the others make for great add-ons to other ranges.
Rebel Minis has a small selection of stuff--orcs and wood elves.
Microword Games is 6mm but some of their stuff works well in 10mm.
Copplestone, Pendraken and Magister Militia are great to work with and the shipping is not too bad.

Polar Fox in distant Siberia also do amazing Orcs, Goblins and Egyptian themed undead:

Finally, I don't know if these are selling yet but there are some nice ogres at black gate miniatures, they had a kickstarter a little while ago which got funded:

Some really exciting stuff appearing these days.

Aster Wargame in Italy are slowly re-releasing the 10mm TB Line range which was OOP for a long time:

The arabs, mongols and medieval western Europeans are on my long term shopping list for 10mm fantasy.
