I will ask when i can, but I suspect they are normal uniforms in winter coats.
-
Interesting I had wondered that but pics of greatcoats I have appear longer, the other point that made me question this , is the colour of the trousers appears to be the same brown..although on one of the figs they could be dark grey or indigo blue.

The picture is so small I get pixels when i try to zoom
Where it is from ?
That could help

I will try and find source or artist, I found it searching online

Here's the postcard with the info on the back.

Thanks Nuno, the larger pic makes it clearer that the trousers are same shade of brown as the tunic/coat.........still not sure about the unit appears to be a Jewish one but all info I have was they were n
ot issued with muskets but armed with pikes.facing/cuff colours poss black. The trouble is the description appears to relate to the figs in the foreground on the left.

Well the info on the post cards make them Straż bezpieczeństwa - That was paramilitary police formation used to disarm commoners. Each householder in Warsaw was member of this unit.

Much more probably is that they are Gwardia miejska,
Jewish unit was Gwardia miejska Starozakonna:

I cannot find much about their uniform. They were jewish people that did not want to shave their beards to the lenght to be able to serve in Gwardia narodowa.

An interesting assortment I hadnt run across those pencil sketches before illustrating a wide variety of semi civillian dress. The German plate I believe illustrates uniforms circa 1815. You must have a good research library!
